In 2012, Scott and Elad met in Playa Venao and decided to unite their expertise and knowledge, forming AMF Capital in 2013. AMF, short for “always moving forward,” has helped to match investors all over the world with high-growth development projects. The group currently manages the sales, marketing, administration, architecture, legal, and other infrastructural elements for locally-based projects. It also runs Canas Jungle Adventure, a nature-based zipline and adventure park operator.
AMF’s locally-based, multinational team brings expertise to all phases of development to maximize investor value. The team, which includes well-connected key players in Panama, will handle cost management, construction, machinery management, acquisition of labor and materials, deployment of infrastructure, so that you don’t have to.

Scott grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii and graduated from Trinity College in Connecticut with a degree in economics. He spent 15 years as a Wall Street trader in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong for top global investment banks such as Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Nomura Securities and Knight Capital Group. While in Asia he successfully invested in, and developed real estate in the once emerging, but now booming resort areas of Niseko, Japan and Bali, Indonesia. Deciding to leverage his international real estate knowledge and global travel experience to 77 countries, he moved on from his position as an investment banking managing director and went in search of the next Hawaii / Bali / Costa Rica / Niseko. He found this new global hotspot when he arrived in Panama in 2012. He has been there in Playa Venao ever since with his wife and children, both born in Panama. Scott is fluent in Japanese and proficient in Spanish.
Elad was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel and graduated from TLV Open University with a degree in economics. After serving in the Israeli Military for three years as an Operations Sargent in the Intelligence Corps he traveled throughout Central America and first discovered Panama in 2007. A natural entrepreneur, he returned home to start a surfing and water sports activities business in Tel Aviv, which he later sold, to take advantage of a better opportunity in the US. He later worked in various locations across the US as a sales director for a health and wellness products business. He made his first real estate investment in Costa Rica in 2006 and after he discovering the potential in Latin America he moved to Panama in 2008. He lives with his wife and two children full time in Panama. Elad is fluent in Hebrew, Spanish and English and speaks conversational Russian.
